The flat 1.5-mile route includes the Cathedral Quarter and uses headsets for clear narration. Guides such as James, Anne, Mylie, and Róisín bring personal insight to a difficult subject.

“Róisín was such a wonderful guide. She was very passionate, as she experienced first-hand, a lot of what she covered during the tour. She made you feel the emotions at the time. She helped me, and our group, really envision what was happening back then. She's a fantastic storyteller. The earpiece and radio helped a lot as well. I truly enjoyed Róisín and the tour. I've been on many tours in Europe, and this was high on my favorite list. I would definitely recommend this tour!”

A driver-guide such as Brian, Benn, or Lindsey provides local stories and Belfast history. The six-hour trip is built for cruise passengers, with port pickup and return.

“Our guide was very biased in the Protestant and Christian conflict in Belfast. For example, they said “you can tell them apart by the space between their eyes” and “now we are going into no man’s land.” Despite that it was a great trip to the Dark Hedges and especially the Giant’s Causeway. I recommend paying for the shuttle up and down to the basalt columns from the visitors center. Note that your trip doesn’t include entry to the visitors center.”

“Our tour with Marti was an evening well spent. His love and knowledge of Belfast was easily seen as he connected lots of information about its past present and future. He connected with us and where we were from and related some insights to our perspective. Marti knew the major landmarks and the ones tucked down a passage. He encouraged us to continue our interests in Belfast with recommendations for books and films. His attention to the teenager in our group was appreciated, talking about the music scene and wall art throughout the city. It was just the tour we needed and learned so much!”

“We had a great day on this tour. Kevin did an excellent job as driver/guide. He was very punctual and cleat about where we were going and how long we had. The only thing I would change is not eat the buffet for lunch at Dark Hedges. There is a sandwich shop right next door that we didn't know about. The beef stew tasted like Cambells soup. We loved seeing the Giants Causeway. Plenty of time there. Overall it was lovely.”
